Cookie Policy
Version v1.0Last updated 26 April 2026
1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how VectisFlow Limited (trading as Templio) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use our platform at templio.co.uk and associated subdomains.
We have designed our cookie use to be minimal. We use only strictly necessary cookies required for the platform to function, and — with your consent — privacy-first analytics that do not track you across other websites or share your data with advertising networks.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. Cookies allow the website to recognise your device on subsequent visits and to remember information such as your login state.
Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and browser-level flags. Where we use such technologies, we treat them the same as cookies for the purposes of this policy.
3. Cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are essential for the platform to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality such as sign-in and security.
3.2 Functional
We do not currently use functional cookies (cookies that remember preferences beyond the core session). If this changes, this policy will be updated before deployment.
3.3 Analytics (Plausible)
With your consent, we use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-first, open-source analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, does not fingerprint your device, and does not share data with advertising platforms. All analytics data is aggregated and anonymous.
Plausible is loaded only if you accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner. If you reject or do not respond to the banner, no analytics script is loaded.
4. Third-party cookies
The third-party providers whose cookies appear on our platform are listed in section 3.1 above. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or social media cookies.
For Clerk and Stripe sub-processors, transfers of cookie data outside the UK are covered by UK IDTA and EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as detailed in our Data Processing Addendum.
5. Managing your choices
You can control cookies in three ways:
-
Our cookie banner — when you first visit, a banner offers Accept all, Reject non-essential, and Settings options. You may change your choice at any time by clearing the
templio.cookie-consent.v1key from your browser's localStorage. -
Browser settings — most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the platform.
-
Plausible opt-out — Plausible respects the global privacy control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends GPC, we will not load the analytics script regardless of your consent setting.
6. Do Not Track
We honour the Do Not Track (DNT) browser signal on the marketing website. If DNT is set, we do not load the Plausible analytics script. DNT does not affect strictly necessary cookies required for platform operation.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when we introduce new technologies or when our cookie use changes. The version number and date at the top of this page will reflect the current revision. We will not deploy new cookies without first updating this policy.
